IRIDIUM WORLD INFORMATION HUB

Recently featured at
Geneva Telecom 99, the Iridium World Information Hub is a pleasingly sophisticated atmosphere for experienced travelers and professionals.

To increase awareness and expand familiarity with the Iridium brand and service offerings, G2D helped Iridium define and plan a highly portable and modular program that appealed specifically to its entire range of international CEOs, executives, diplomats and policy makers.

Open, inviting, and visually enticing, the Iridium World Information Hub has the look and feel of today’s exclusive airline clubs and offers a similarly cosmopolitan range of amenities.

These amenities include the News and Information Centre, Internet Courtesy Stations, Laptop Docking Locations, World Time Clocks, and complimentary bottled water and newspaper distribution. Virtually everything the busy traveling professional needs to relax and stay well informed.

Key to the success of this space were the Internet Courtesy Stations, where G2D designed and developed a secure, high-speed connection to the internet featuring a well researched front-end portal. Visitors could send and receive email, surf through the targeted, pre-selected links, launch the Iridium CD-ROM, or log into their corporate intranet.

Equally welcoming to technocrat and technophobe alike by offering courtesy services in both the high-tech vein and more traditional tone, this environment extends Iridium's message via the communication metaphor in all ways necessary to make it accessible to Iridium’s entire target demographic.
